This group takes a multifunctional approach to the topic of art. Ranging from longer talks on specific subjects to short contributions from most of the participants. We have ranged in subjects from ancient art to contemporary and when suitable we have also visited art exhibitions in Hastings, St. Leonard’s and Bexhill as well as Eastbourne.   We were formerly called Technical Art History but this was too limited a horizon and we have largely concentrated on specific artists, selected isms, different types of art, how art was produced or made or exhibited and we welcome variety.
